Hurricane Odile Update-Los Cabo Airport
So here is how it works at the Los Cabos Airport.
First the Corridor is open.
Second the Airport is not as bad as it looks in the pictures—at least from the outside. Many windows were knocked out, but the structure is intact.
When getting to the airport, Americans are put in one line, Mexicans in another, Canadians in another. Each gets on the first available plane to that country or the mainland, and in the case of Americans taken to a destination in the US near the border, Dallas or Phoenix.
There is security everywhere around the airport. The airport has power, but no cell or data service.
